FLASHBACK: Ex-King of Sikkim Is a Lonely Powerless Man

Greeting to all!

It's been a long time since I wrote anything here. After a long gap I have something 
interesting to share. Its all about the last King of Sikkim.I found an interesting article
written by Denis D. Gray, Associated Press Writer published on Schenectady Gazette - 
Dec 3, 1980.The title of article is "Ex-King of Sikkim Is a Lonely Powerless Man" . I am

Satyajit Ray's documentary "Sikkim" featuring very old Nepali song

A documentary film by Satyajit Ray on Sikkim which was produced by the Chyogal of Sikkim was lost for long years and recently(January 2003) a good quality print was found safe in the British Film Institute. The film is very good but what caught my notice was an old Nepali song being featured in the film. I have no idea who is the singer but its a very nice song. Do let us know if you have any details.


Lyrics goes like this:
